Remove the detachable back plate from the Belt and adjust as per Patient's contour.
Plate marked 'TOP' should coincide with the top of the Belt.
P<ace the lower portion of the belt at the level of tip of the Gluteal muscle, that is 1½” below coccyx notch over the highest point of buttocks. (½ of the buttocks).
Fasten the 3rd strap from top first.
Then fasten the 4th and 2nd and then the 1st.
Now all velcro straps are to be tightened gently by taking the lower abdomen in, by exhalation (breathing out).
Expel the breath to take the abdomen in and tighten the straps at the same time, gently as per requirement.
NOTE: Remove the Belt while sleeping and
bathing, put a lot of powder on the belt before application of this belt. If
you remove the Belt before eating food please do not put it on before 1 hour
after food.
