Spondylosis of the
thoracic and cervical region of spine resulting in acute pain in the spine. Used in Koch's disease, especially osteoporetic
cases and trauma cases.Restricts trunk flexion, extension, rotation and lateral trunk motion in thoracic
and cervical areas. It reduces lordosis and decreases loading on the vertebrae
and discs by increasing intraabdominal pressure by anterior pad. Used in Koch's
disease, especially osteoporetic cases.

CERVICAL ORTHOSIS ( C.O )
Flexion Position is attained by selecting lower front height of C.O. and placing Occipital Support closer and higher posteriorly.
MINIMAL EXTENSION POSITION is attained by selecting higher front height of C.O. and placing Occipital support lower posteriorly as desired in case of subluxation of atlanto joint.
NEUTRAL POSITION is attained by selecting front height where chin is parallel to ground straight view.

Place the lower posterior border of the brace at the apex of the gluteal bulge ( Buttocks ) ( i.e. 1-1/2” below Coccyx Notch ) ( ½ of the Buttocks ) Ref. figure. First grip the strap with the pad. The front part of the pad and Velcro straps should not touc the thighs.
Now put on the shoulder strap in “D” rings and tighten gently.
Now velcro straps are to be tightened by taking the lower abdomen in, by Exhalation (breath out ). Tighten the shoulder straps as per requirement.
NOTE: Tighten the strap Correctly so that anterior pad remains in center.
